What is the VISIA® Complexion Analysis?
The VISIA Complexion Analysis system captures multiple images of the face in varying spectrums to provide an in-depth analysis of your facial characteristics that indicate your skin’s health and appearance.
This multi-spectral and visual insight provides key indicators for the six primary characteristics that define your skin’s health including wrinkles, spots, pores, texture, bacteria presence (porphyrins) and UV spots (sun damage).
Then, it’s this detailed insight that allows our team to create a treatment plan that is best suited to your skin’s history and needs to be able to heal, rejuvenate, or protect your face for the future.
How does it work?
First, using a technology called IntelliFlash®, which is cross-polarized and UV lighting, the VISIA records and measures surface and subsurface skin conditions.
This then produces imaging called UV photography that provides the most complete data set available for sun damage assessment and analysis, including UV fluorescence imaging to reveal porphyrins (aka the presence of bacteria on the skin).
Then, the Canfield’s RBX® Technology separates the unique color signatures of red and brown skin components in the skin for unequaled visualization of conditions such as spider veins, hyperpigmentation, rosacea, and acne.
All of this is delivered with a very quick and easy process where we rotate the VISIA system around your face to capture the imaging from all angles, and present you with the clearest picture of what’s happening with your skin on a deep level.
